Miguel Lago

Biography

Miguel Ángel Lago is a postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Miguel Eckstein in the Vision & Image Understanding laboratory. His research interests are related with the fields of medical image processing, machine learning and computer vision. He received his PhD in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2014.

Research

His current research involves the development of model observers for 3D imaging modalities, specifically for breast tomosynthesis. He is developing a foveated model observer which will be used in a clinically realistic search task with the objective to optimize the acquisition parameters of digital breast tomosynthesis.
